Beasain is a municipality located in the interior of Gipuzkoa, 42 kilometers from Donostia, at the western end of the Pyrenees and within the Central Biscay syncline. The urban center lies in the lower part of the municipality, at 159.2 meters above sea level, surrounded by mountains ranging between 500 and 800 meters high, such as Murumendi, Usurbe, and Pagokabar. Beasain covers an area of 29.9 km² and is crossed by the Oria River, which is fed by several smaller rivers and streams, creating a rich hydrographic network.
The municipality borders Beizama and Azpeitia to the north, Lazkao, Olaberria, and Idiazabal to the south, Ordizia and Itsasondo to the east, and Ormaiztegi and Ezkio-Itxaso to the west. It is distributed across several population centers, with the town center being the most populated, along with the neighborhoods of Arriaran, Astigarreta, Gudugarreta, and the anteiglesias of Matximbenta and Garín.
Beasain plays a key role in communications thanks to its location and industrial development. It is well connected by the Madrid-Irún-Paris railway line and by major roads such as the N-1 (Madrid-Irún), the GI-632 (Beasain-Durango), and the GI-131 (Beasain-Etxarri Aranaz), facilitating easy access from various parts of Gipuzkoa and other Basque provinces.
The climate of Beasain is temperate and humid, with moderate temperatures throughout the year and constant rainfall, which promotes lush vegetation and the distinctive landscapes of its mountainous environment.

Simple hotel, perfect for sleeping and resting — no need to ask for more. Extraordinary people, very kind and highly professional, great dining service. Ideal location if you want to explore the Basque Country, just an hour's drive from all major sites. I’ll be back.
A very peaceful hotel to disconnect. The staff is very attentive and helpful. Daniela is such a sweetheart, always attentive and ready to recommend places to visit — truly charming. The food was exquisite, a 10! Those croquettes… ummm! I’d definitely come back. Thanks to all the hotel staff. Greetings and big hugs from a girl from the Canary Islands.
The friendliest hotel staff I’ve ever met. Daniela is pure charm and sweetness, and Jon gives you incredible tips on places to visit and where to park. I’ll recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Basque Country, and if I ever return, I’ll definitely stay again. The breakfasts and dinners were fabulous. In short, a 10 out of 10.
We went to this hotel for a tournament. The staff was the best — super friendly and lovely, they treated us wonderfully. The restaurant surprised us: good food with generous portions at an affordable price. Clean and comfortable rooms.
Wonderful stay at the hotel: very comfortable and clean beds. TV and A/C were perfect for comfort. Storage space was great, although the hangers were very old. Lighting was excellent. The bathroom was very clean, although there were no towel hooks for the shower.
